Michael Irvin Says DeAndre Hopkins Told Him That Bill O'Brien Compared Hopkins To Aaron Hernandez And Had A Problem With Hopkins Bringing His Baby Mamas Around The Team

I'm sure Texans fans woke up this morning starting to feel a little better about their team by convincing themselves Deshaun Watson can pull another 10 or so victories out of his ass if the bodies of Will Fuller and JJ Watt don't crumple beneath them yet again. But I'm pretty sure they are back to Stage 1 of grief after these comments by Michael Irvin while the rest of us were trying to clean up our brains that had just exploded like Marcus Spears.

Same, Marcus. Same. And congrats on becoming a meme!

You cannot feel good about having your team's coach/GM/whatever other titles Bill O'Brien has ascended to dropping the motherfucking A-Bomb on any player let alone one like Nuk, who by all accounts has been a pretty awesome guy that has balled his ass off for the Texans since Day 1. Comparing a guy that created life with a bunch of different women to a guy that allegedly ended the lives of a bunch of different men is the ultimate apples to oranges comp and one of the dumbest reasons you could trade the best player at his position in the NFL for essentially a 2nd round pick and a running back a team was looking to give away. I thought I had it bad as a Giants fan who has to deal with whatever chaos Dave Gettleman may unleash in a quote or a trade. But the Odell trade that included a first round pick and a starting safety is looking a hell of a lot better a year later and Gettleman hasn't called out any players for having kids with multiple women. I'm chalking that up as a W for Big Blue.

Thoughts and prayers to whatever Texans fans have survived The Chin's reign of terror down in Houston and hopefully Bill O'Brien will fire Bill O'Brien before it's too late because the appeal of playing with Deshaun Watson is only going to attract so many free agents when people think your coach who is also your GM is a goddamn lunatic. Or maybe if the Texans promote O'Brien to owner, everything will fix itself. As someone with no ties to the Texans that relies on blogging idiots, I pray to God that happens.
