Please Stop Sending Your Sex Tapes to Joe Buck
When Joe Buck made his signature call of, "We'll see you later tonight," I don't think this is what he had in mind.
Buck asked people to send him videos from their homes for him to make calls over and asked those whose videos he chose to make a donation to a charity. While some sent in the videos he had in mind, others went a different direction.
KMOX — "Yeah, I've had a couple of submissions from let's say, a man and a woman, that just didn't seem appropriate to put my voice to in this stage of my life. Maybe later in life, but not now. I look at these videos very carefully and pick the ones that seem the most wholesome to put my voice to."
How could you rascals send your sex tapes to one of the broadcasting legends of our generation? That's just disrespectful. Have some class.
Although now that I think about it, I do almost get the appeal. If you've gone far enough to make a sex tape with your significant other, I suppose you'd want it to have as high of a production value as possible. And what better way to drive up the value of your sex tape than to have it called by Joe Buck? And it's nothing if not creative, I'll give them that.
The most telling part of Buck's quote is that he admitted maybe later in his life, if things ever go downhill with the best network broadcasting job in the business, he might entertain the idea of being the voice of sex tapes across America — I'm paraphrasing, of course.
Anyway, I think these videos are more what he had in mind. Wholesome content only, folks.
