"Give Him Geno Smith And Lets See How Many Super Bowl He Would've Won" -Rex Ryan On Bill Belichick

We're almost on a full month without sports. You've got to feel bad for these daily talk shows that rely on the constant flow of sports news. That being said, Rex Ryan is turning into a young Skip Bayless, huh? 

For me this take is a bit personal. It brings me down memory lane of the time that Geno Smith was the New York Jets hope. That didn't really work out and I'm sure Rex Ryan blames the drafting of Geno a bit for his downfall in New York. 

However, Rex let's look at the facts here.....Geno Smith was a 2nd round pick. Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. As a Jets fan, I can sit here all day and talk about how "lucky" the Pats were for drafting Brady, but it doesn't really hold up when you compare it to taking Geno Fucking Smith in the 2nd round. Also, let's not forget that Belichick won with Cassel, Jimmy G, and Jacoby Brissett.
