A Swan Rescue In Carver To Start The Week

CARVER (CBS) — A swan was rescued from the frigid temperatures in Carver Saturday. A plow driver spotted the frozen swan sitting in a snowbank on the side of the road.Carver Police Officer David Harriman responded to the call and rescued the “cold and exhausted” swan.Harriman brought the swan back to the station and kept it warm and fed until the Animal Rescue League picked it up.

Just a little feel good story to start a week. A good old fashioned Swan rescue from a snow bank in Carver. Just feeding the Swan at the Carver Police Station like it was a dog. Love it. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to see a swan stuck in the snow. Must have been the most bittersweet sight of all time. I mean a swan in snow is like a painting come to life. Mother Nature you diabolical son of a cunt.

PS – There is no chance the the swan’s name wasn’t Richard.
