April 15th Workout: Cardio Whipped My Fat Ass This Morning
It's Wednesday, April 15th and today was the first day I woke up with (slightly) less motivation to workout. Not enough to not workout or even really consider not working out, but enough to lay in bed for an extra 5-10 minutes when I woke up pondering life. I had my mini gut check and got my fat ass out of bed to hit this cardio workout. It whooped my ass up and down and my heart is still pounding but I feel so much better now that I'm done. It's not the longest workout but high intensity especially if you take very minimal breaks in between. Also now that I'm officially five days into my intermittent fasting (eating 8 hours a day and nothing but water the other 16 hours) my body is now officially in ketosis which means my body is at maximum fat burning levels. I couldn't not take advantage of that! If I had quit now or just taken a day off I'd do it for the rest of my life. I've worked out for a few days and quit in the past but no more. This time it's different. We're powering through those last few tough reps, we're getting up and working out even when we don't want to, we're eating the apple instead of the chocolate bar. The one thing thats indisputable in this world is that we control our own destiny. No matter what happens to you in your life, YOU have the power to choose how you react to it. 20 Squat Jumps x2
30 Suicide Shuffles x2
50 Butt-Kicks x2
30 Mountain Climbers x2
35 Minute Power Walk
