THIS IS NOT A DRILL - The First Trailer For A Saved By The Bell Reboot Just Dropped

Well, well, well, what do we have here? A little teaser for a Saved by the Bell reboot! I had no Idea this was dropping and just saw it flash on my timeline. But here are some details:

In the modern-day revival, Zack Morris — who is now the governor of California — lands in hot water for closing too many low-income high schools. When he suggests sending the affected students to the highest-performing schools in the state, including Bayside High, the influx of new students “gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed and hilarious dose of reality,” according to the official logline.

Of course Zack became the governor of California. That was bound to happen. You're telling me a guy that had a massive cell phone and could freeze time wasn't going to get into politics? You're out of your mind if you thought he wasn't that or some fancy CEO somewhere in Silicon Valley. Those were the only two possible outcomes.

While it's said that Zack will be in a few episodes, it appears that Slater will be the star. And you guessed it! He's the PE teacher at Bayside according to TVLine. The only thing more predictable than Zack's future life was this. There was a 110% chance that Slater was going to end up as the PE teacher. No doubt he loves mixing it up with games and encourages guys to play dodgeball still.

It will also be centered around Zack and Kelly's son and Jessie's son, who has to sit through Slater's talks. Wonder if he'll talk about his relationship with Jessie?

I know that reboots are old in a way and overplayed, but if you're giving me a new Saved by the Bell with some of the regulars and appearances by Kelly Kapowski then sign me the fuck up.

This is scheduled to drop on July 15. I vote we bully them to drop it now while we're sitting in quarantine and let's knock this bad boy out.
