The Jinx is going to be like a famous painter who only blew up after he was dead. As it aired, there was a small but loyal following, but on the heels of the latest Robert Durst arrest and the jaw dropping finale, I feel like more people are going to watch on demand this week than ever before. Feits and I are playing the hipster card on this one along with Big Daddy Trent and Kmarko, we were in on the Jinx from the very beginning.
So Feitelberg and I sat down for about an hour discuss the most talked about series on TV right now. Particularly the funniest moments from Bobby Durst and how he comes off as a very likable guy considering he’s pure evil and a psychotic murderer. We discuss the parallels between The Jinx and Serial, talk about all three murders, the evidence, Jarecki and his crew and how they sat on it, what we think is next for Bob and his trial in LA. Hopefully they’ll be more Jinx material and we can do a few more episodes of Barstool DVR for this series, because its genuinely one of the most interesting things we’ve come across in a long time.
