Carole Baskin Got Duped Into Her First Public Interview Since 'Tiger King' By Two YouTube Pranksters Posing As Jimmy Fallon
If I were part of a group of internet pranksters with the collective goal of tricking and deceiving celebrities around the globe into looking really stupid I think the last person I'd choose as my next victim would be batshit crazy Carole Baskin. Oh yeah let's pick the person who sued someone until they lost everything and then allegedly* (wink wink) fed her husband to tigers. Let's dupe her! Swell idea. Nothing bad can possibly happen from this harmless, hilarious prank.
If there were any remaining hope of getting a Carole Baskin sit down interview post-Tiger King that is surely gone now. That bitch isn't trusting a goddamn soul after this video makes its waves. You go this long closed off to the world and the one time you finally trust someone you get tricked by two British assholes who use shitty Jimmy Fallon soundboards to fake an interview. This sounded like something we did in middle school using Ebaumsworld's soundboards.
Carole responded in the comments to make it seem like she knew something was up, but I don't buy that for a second. She's no rocket scientist. She got duped.
For someone who was being so cautious with what interview she gave I feel like the moment you don't see Jimmy Fallon on the other side of the Zoom you call off the interview before it gets started. Also Fallon didn't do his over-exaggerated interrupting laugh once which should set off the reddest of red flags. That should just tell you right then and there this was a world-class swindle. That being said, the British accent can make me believe or do just about anything. It's just so convincing. They sound so innocent and genuine with every word that escapes their mouths that I have no choice but to trust them. Especially the dude who was in charge of talking to her the whole time. That's a smooth cat (no pun intended). He talks to me for 60 seconds and I'll give him my SSN and the name of my first pet before I even know what happened.
Baskin gave this statement to E as a follow up to the YouTube comment.
"I was suspicious as we were doing it because the questions appeared taped," she shared. "But had no idea it would turn out to be such a fun prank. It gave us a very welcome good laugh. I appreciate their cleverness and that they created their video in a way that I don't feel was in any way mean spirited."
Oh yeah the crazy lady who starts out her videos saying "hey all you cool cats and kittens" was just thrilled to be made a mockery of in front of the whole world while everyone already thinks she killed her husband. I'm sure she's in a really great state of mind these days. Once quarantine ends these British fellas are donezo. They're going to be mauled by every tiger that's ever lived as she watches on and maniacally counts all of the money she sued them for. She's going to sue right? Does Jimmy Fallon sue also or does he laugh it off on his show tonight? Do they both team up and sue? Someone has to be getting sued right?
P.S. Eventually the internet magicians out there are going to get so good at deep fakes that no one will trust anyone ever again. If coronavirus doesn't do it, that will surely be the end of civilization as we know it. We're probably 5 years away from that. Maybe less?
