Question of the Day – What Was The Bigger Crime: Aaron Hernandez Triple Murder vs. Deflategate?

Okay I fully admit that this seems like a crazy question to ask on the outside. Like how can I compare triple homicide with Deflategate? Well here is how. I don’t think Aaron Herndez planned on murdering a ton of people. It just kind of happened. Like somebody stepped on his toe at Rumor so he had to murder them. Odin Lloyd started talking about Herndandez’s flop house so he had to be murdered. But it wasn’t like Hernandez woke up one day and was like I’m gonna murder a ton of people for no reason. He was on Angel Dust and started making poor decisions in the heat of the moment. It can happen to the best of us.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Deflategate. It was a coordinated attack by multiple parties that was designed to systematically embarrass and destroy an entire organization. Hernandez didn’t try to frame anybody like Mike Kensil did. Herndandez didn’t leak information to the media like Goodell did. Hernandez didn’t murder somebody with the express intent of blaming it on somebody else. Yet that’s exactly what the NFL, Colts and Ravens did and it goes all the way to the top. It was one giant conspiracy theory. That’s why I think you can honestly say Deflategate was a bigger crime than what Aaron Hernandez did. Aaron Hernandez was provoked so he killed a bunch of people. Roger Goodell, Mike Kensil, Bob Kravitz all conspired together to create the biggest lie the NFL has ever told in an attempt to ruin an entire region. You tell me the bigger crime.
