Ringo Starr Is Celebrating His 80th Birthday Tonight With A Virtual Concert Featuring Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Gary Clark Jr, & More

Sir Ringo Starr is celebrating his 80th birthday tonight, and he's doin' it up the pandemic way - with a livestreamed concert for charity! 

Starr recently told Rolling Stone, “I love birthdays; but this year is going to be a little different. There’s no big get-together, there’s no brunch for 100. We’re putting this show together - an hour of music and chat. It’s quite a big birthday.”, and the roster of musicians scheduled to join could definitely be described as an All-Starr cast! 

We've got performances from Ringo's former bandmate Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Ben Harper, Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr, Sheila E., and of course....the drummer himself to look forward to! I'm sure it'll be a good time, and I'll be watching, so this is basically just your heads up that it's happening! I don't have much else to add - other than just noting how much I love how much Ringo appears to enjoy living life. Always a smile on that fella. Loves that he was in The Beatles. Who wouldn't?
