The Fact That Bob Kravitz Is Strutting Around Acting Like He Was Right About Deflategate Is Amazing.
INDIANAPOLIS - I’ll be honest: This whole ugly thing has been disappointing, and not simply because the best team in the league insists on circumventing the rules any way they possibly can. I expect a lack of professionalism from fanboi bloggers who dubiously claimed knowledge of the identity of my source, who came after me in the most personal manner imaginable.I expect that from sports-talk radio, which can often be designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator. One sports talk clown, Scott Zolak, the former Patriots backup quarterback, trolled me constantly on Twitter, which made me wonder if he was still on the team’s payroll. (Maybe he is; I have no idea. All I know is, I haven’t heard word one from him in recent hours).
So lots of media sites are acting like Little Bobby Kravitz deserves an apology from the Internet. That he was right all along with Deflategate. People singing his praises. And naturally he’s strutting around like the cock of the walk soaking it all in giving lectures to Dan Patrick about what good journalism and bad journalism is all about. Calling me a fanboi blogger. Crushing Zolak. Umm what fucking planet am I on?
First things first. This cocksucker already apologized and backtracked! Once you apologize and admit you were wrong you can’t do a 180 and then act like you had it right the entire time.
From Kravitz’s Own Apology Article
In ensuing tweets and a column or two, I wrote that if owner Robert Kraft had an ounce of integrity, Belichick would be bounced immediately, draft picks should be forfeited and the Pats should be fined. What I failed to do was make it abundantly clear, “IF the Patriots are found guilty of having tampered with the footballs…” I failed to understand, at least at the time, that each tweet, taken by itself, is an independent organism, not a part of a continuing narrative.
And even if we accept the Wells Report as fact (which everybody knows it’s not) it still exonerated Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. So what about these tweets Bobby?
This is specifically what you already apologized for! Without any facts or knowledge you blamed this all on Bill Belichick. You said that Bob Kraft should fire him. You insinuated this was all Belichick’s brain child. You became part of the story. This isn’t the work of an unbiased reporter. This is somebody who has an agenda against the Pats and shaped the story which even your allies are now saying was completely incorrect. So again why is Little Bobby Kravitz taking victory laps? If he just tweeted that the league was investigating the Pats I could live with it, but he didn’t. He took it ten steps further and implicated our coach and said he needed to be fired.
Oh and while we are at it I think you should stop calling me a fanboi blogger. I literally buy and sell guys like you 5 times a day before I have my lunch. I offered you the chance to go on camera and have a debate with me. You cowered and pissed down your leg and then made up stories about what you said to me. That’s how it got personal. You had to learn the hard way that I’m an empire maker. You’re just a crumpled suit with a type writer. Now shut up and apologize to my friend Bill (Belichick)
