Adam Schefter Says It's A "Forgone Conclusion" That Brady Will Be Suspended

We’ve officially hit bananaland status times infinity . Adam Scheffeter is now saying it’s a forgone conclusion that Tom Brady is going to be suspended. This is even as every single human with a brain has had time to dissect the Wells Report and is saying not only didn’t it prove anything but it was clearly an agenda driven witch hunt. Yet somehow despite a total lack of evidence against Brady he’s still going to get punished. Why? Because apparently the NFL is mad that he didn’t cooperate and turn over his cell phone and allow the very organization that is trying to destroy him to pull all his texts out of context and leak all his personal information all over the internet. Because Brady didn’t trust turning over the most powerful cell phone in the world to people who have already leaked defamatory information about him for the past 6 months. That he didn’t cooperate with an investigation that is specifically designed to punish him and clearly has no regard for right and wrong.
The bottom-line is the NFL is mad that their sting operation failed and now they are going to punish Tom for not helping the investigators nail him. It would sort of like a judge convicting somebody simply because they invoked the 5th Amendment and refused to testify against themselves. It doesn’t matter whether Tom is guilty or not. The NFL thinks he is guilty and they are going to suspend him for refusing to confirm their beliefs just like they refused to believe Walt Anderson’s version of events.. That’s pretty much the logic Roger Goodell is using here. It’s so preposterous that I actually still don’t think Brady will be suspended. There is just no proof or evidence to back it up. The NFL has to know he’ll appeal and have it overturned in 5 minutes by an impartial judge. They have nothing. Everybody knows they have nothing. How could they possibly still suspend him? Unless their main goal all along had nothing to do with truth and justice and it was always about embarrassing the Patriots in the court of public opinion. If they do suspend him there is no other conclusion to make.
