Purdue's David Bell Named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of The Week After Completely Shredding Iowa

Big Ten football finally came back last weekend and Purdue Sophomore David Bell came back in an even bigger way.

Bell torched Iowa for 13 catches, 121 yards, and 3 count them THREE touchdown catches including the game winner with a little over a minute left in regulation.

This guy is a certified star. He dominated the Big Ten as a true freshmen last year as only one of two bright spots for Purdue last season and was named Big Ten freshmen of the year. He did that with a merry go round at quarterback and no Rondale Moore for all but two games.

Jeff Brohm, who played with Jerry Rice in his short stint in the NFL, did say he sees comparisons between a young Bell and the old GOAT. Yes, that's incredibly high praise but Bell is big, strong, fast, and runs incredibly clean routes. Purdue fans every where are nodding their heads thinking about finally, FINALLY getting to see a healthy Rondale Moore and David Bell on the same field together with an impressive start from former walk-on Aidan O'Connell at QB.

Yes, it may be Purdue football, but this offense has potential to really make some Big Ten rivals lose sleep this season.
