What a win for units all across the globe. For every thicc fella out there who has ever once thought to themselves that they'd love to rip it up on a scooter but then thought to themselves that they were a little too husky to really throw down, this has to be such a monumental moment for them.
You think our guy Patchy over here gives a damn if he's got a little extra weight to launch off those quarterpipes? For sure not. He's still going to throw down and he's going to throw down harder than you could ever imagine.
It's a little thing called perseverance and also being rad as heck.
All I'm saying is that if there were ever a Tony Hawk style video game to come out for scooters, I'd be using the Patchy character all the damn time. Thiccness and grace. A majestic combination.
On a somewhat related note--if scooter riders are going to keep putting down some kick ass tricks like this, we need to find a better term for them than "scooter riders". It's tough because scooter ends with an "-er" so calling them scooterers doesn't really roll off the tongue. Scooterists would be the next best option but even that seems a little clunky. Can we just call them scooters? I don't know, but let's figure it out.
