I, For One, Am All In On These Burger King Red Cheeseburgers Because Red Is The Most Delicious Color Ever

Via – The Aka Burger (“aka” means “red”) comes in two varieties – Samurai Beef and Samurai Chicken, both making use of red cheese and red buns.

Tomato powder was added  to give the ingredients their angry colour, with the burgers also coming with a red hot sauce made from miso and hot pepper and going on sale from 3 July.

Last year Japanese Burger Kings unveiled the Black Cheeseburger an that shit looked like the grossest heaping pile of garbage known to mankind. Makes sense. Even though black is a sick color and represents the bad boy culture, it tastes like shit. Primetime example: Black licorice. But now those goofy Japenese sons of bitches are back at it. This time with the Aka Samurai Burgers (and chicken sandwich I guess). And if we’re being honest, I’d have to assume that this is delicious AF because if there’s one thing I know about colors, it’s that the red anything almost always tastes the best with only a few exceptions. Think about any time you go to Wawa to get a slushie. If red is available, you’ve never once not gotten it. Maybe you go a little crazy with a red and blue swirl, but you never ever sleep on red because it’s the G.O.A.T. Is it any coincidence that Mountain Dew Cod Red is a top 3 beverage of all time? No. Not at all. Red is good, red is great. And even though these red burger buns probably taste absolutely nothing like Code Red, I can guarantee you that out of colored burgers in the world, the reds taste the best.
