Isiah Thomas Said He Didn't Know Michael Jordan Hated Him Until He Watched "The Last Dance"

I've seen Isiah Thomas speak many times. He's been in the public light for 40 years now. He is articulate, charming in a way, and yet...he might be the dumbest motherfucker of all-time. How can he possibly not know that Michael Jordan hated his guts? Like I said, Isiah has been a household name for 40 years, and for 30 of those 40 years Michael Jordan has absolutely fucking hated him with a fire that has been burning for so long that it would be considered a miracle in the Old Testament(boom, that's a hanukah reference). I mean, Jordan says it in this clip right here

"I hate Isiah Thomas"--Michael Jordan. Plain as day. But...just in case Isiah was unclear...everyone fucking hates you, dude. Michael hates you, Scottie hates you, Larry Bird hates you, Magic hates you, Karl Malone hates you, I don't even know you and I DESPISE you, the entire city of New York hates you...everyone. I bet there isn't one market in the world except Detroit where Isiah catches someone's eye without raising their blood pressure. That guy is a certified asshole and apparently ignorant to that fact. Saying he doesn't know just makes him look stupid. If I were going to hire Isiah that would be my first question..."okay, why does everyone you've ever met hate your guts?" and if he tries to say that he's unaware of that then throw him out of the room immediately for wasting your time.

That is the biggest difference between Jordan and Isiah and really Jordan and everyone else including Lebron. Jordan was an absolute asshole too, it seems. But he was honest and authentic about it. He was an asshole in pursuit of greatness and he didn't care who he had to run over to get where he wanted to go and he didn't pretend that he was something that he wasn't. People are suckers for the truth. Jordan wanted to rip your heart out. He didn't want to be your friend or team up. Lebron, as great as he is, has a phony vibe. He feels contrived and scripted. Jordan is who he is and we all love him for it. That's the mark of a true GOAT
