"It's A Nightmare For Them" — Sources Say Lori Laughlin's Daughters Are "Beyond Worried" With The (2 Month) Jail Sentence. No Not Theirs. The One Their Mom Is Serving.

People — Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are now both in jail for their role in last year's college admissions scandal, but a Loughlin source says it's the couple’s daughters —YouTube star Olivia Jade Giannulli, 21, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 22 — who may be struggling the most.

"It's just a nightmare for them," the source tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "They were very upset when they said goodbye to Lori. But to have both of their parents now in prison at the same time is very upsetting."

"They are beyond worried," the source adds of Olivia and Isabella. "They can't wait to have their mom home in December, though. They try to focus on this."

In the meantime, a legal source says Loughlin is holding up well. “She was a little weepy on her first night there, but she pulled herself together quickly. She hasn’t had any specific problems. No one is bullying her.

At first I was thinking "imagine being in jail going on year 20 for something you didn't do because of some racist dickhead who caught you in the wrong place at the wrong time and reading this story in the prisoner's lounge edition of People." And yeah that point stands, sure. But imagine being fuckin Lori Laughlin and Mr. Lori Laughlin and reading this story in the prisoner's lounge edition of People??!!  Oh Olivia Jade, are you really struggling? Isabella Rose, is it a nightmare that you can't wake up from?  Out there in the Malibu beach house? With a perfect view of the river where you fake practiced for the fake crew team while Daddy and I paid $500K of our money we worked for to get your dumb ass into a school?  Where the catering staff makes you comfort meals and Uncle Jesse stops by dinner?  Poor babies. That does sound awful. And Covid! Where can you even hide in that spacious home with your own room? I'm praying for you sweetheart. Well I'm trying to but my bunkmate keeps forcefully prying open my jaw and coughing in my mouth while she shivs me in the rib cage. They say it's "hazing" idk but I'm getting the hang of it. And don't you worry about your Dad either, they told me yesterday he's got a really close, really special friend over there who is protecting him from all the bad guys. Always nice what people are willing to do out of nothing but the goodness of their heart and nothing at all in return for the protection. Gives you hope in the world.

"She’s using this time to focus on herself, but she’s also interested in hearing the stories of the other inmates,” the source says. “She realizes she’s no better and no worse than any of them. Lori is resolved to finish her sentence with her head held high.”
