It Took Less Than One Half Of Preseason Basketball For LaMelo Ball To Become Must Watch

I'm blogging this with about 5 minutes left in the first half and I'm already ready to declare LaMelo Ball a must watch player. I mean these were just two passes that have been floating around Twitter, but anyone watching this game right now will tell you the same thing. He has "it". Don't take my word for it, even Jamal Crawford agrees

Yeah, I know this is preseason. I know teams are not "really" trying, but listen the eye test doesn't lie. You watch the way LaMelo passes the ball and the confidence and flair he has with the ball in his hands, it's like Magic. OK, that's the preseason hype talking, but at the very least it's Luka-esq. OK, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself but I dunno, it feels right. The Hornets came out of the gates guns blazing and have since come back to earth, but man are they fun to watch. Way more fun than last year's Hornets that's for sure. 

There's just something about a player being an elite passer that just does it for me. Sure dunks are fun, crossovers get the crowds going if there were actually crowds, but for my money nothing beats elite passing. We're only one half of a fake basketball game into LaMelo's career and it's pretty clear his passing is elite. He has the same touch as Lonzo but way more flair I feel like. Who knows how many games the Hornets will win this year but do yourself a favor and make sure they are part of your League Pass rotation if only to see LaMelo pass. Dude is legit.
