Gritty (And Kevin Hayes) Have Successfully Bullied The NHL Into Letting That Menace Into Games This Year
In case you missed it, Gritty was originally left out of the NHL's Return To Play guidelines for the upcoming 2021 season. Considering this sick bastard would surely end up behind bars for either murder or drugs or perhaps some large scale embezzlement scheme without having hockey to pull him off the streets, Gritty desperately needed access to games this year. Without the responsibility of having to show up to the Wells Fargo Center this season for Flyers games, Gritty would be hanging out under a bridge somewhere in South Philadelphia. So he and Kevin Hayes put a little pressure on the NHL to amend their protocols to let this menace back. And after nearly 12,000 signatures on this Change.org petition….
GRITTY. IS. BACK.
I'm pretty sure that through some shady sources, Gritty was able to attain Gary Bettman's home address. I'm pretty sure that was what finally caused Gary to break and give in to Gritty's demands. Typically he doesn't negotiate with terrorists, but Gritty left him with no other option. And now he'll officially be in the barn when the puck drops on January 13th. Welcome to the Thunderdome.
Gritty is back. Oskar Lindblom will be back. From everything it sounds like, Nolan Patrick should be ready to go as well.
The Flyers may not have made many major additions to the lineup over the offseason, but you bring those 3 guys back into the mix and this is a totally different team than the one we saw in the playoff bubble. Get ready to go on a run here, boys.
