Salma Hayek Is Working On A New Show About Boobs

ET- Salma Hayek is giving the "breast a voice." The 54-year-old actress' Ventanarosa Productions is developing HBO Max's upcoming series, A Boob’s Life, which is about a woman named Leslie, who upon coming up on 40, has her life turned upside down when her boobs start talking to her. The TV series is an adaptation of Leslie’s Lehr’s upcoming novel, A Boob’s Life: How America’s Obsession Shaped Me—and You, which is being released on March 2. 

What a wonderful idea by Salma Hayek! While everyone else in Hollywood is popping out sequels that nobody asked for and rebooting reboots from shows that aired decades ago, we finally get an original idea about talking boobs. You know what demographics like boobs? Pretty much every single one of them, from newborn babies to old coots at the retirement home and everyone in between.The only things that touch boobs in universal appeal are pizza and money, which Portnoy seems to have wisely planted his flag. Even kids who barely understand the appeal of boobs get the comedic aspect of this wonderful body part, since this little calculator trick always made you the comedic king for the day.

The only issue I can see with this show is how they pull off the talking boob shots because talking animals in live movies always feel weird. Will the nipples be the mouths of the boobs or are we just going to have zoom in on a set of breasts while dubbing in talking like the babies in Look Who's Talking? And if this show hits, will there be a guy spinoff with a talking dick? Because I've always had a grudge with mine for multiple reasons and would love to hash things out once and for all.
