Respect This Utah State Player Who Wears Number 44 For The Most Sentimental Reason ... He Fucking Loves The 4 For $4 Menu At Wendy's

See, these are the stories we need to know late night in March. This is the shit that sticks with a team. I could sit here and talk about Utah State's defense and how they are playing arguably the best defense in the country. I could talk about Queta's development in the post and ability to move his feet with his size. I could talk about Justin Bean and how he's turning into an elite offensive rebounder and small ball 4. I could talk about Brock Miller's shooting. But none of that matters. Why? Because the fact that Marco Anthony wears number 44 strictly due to the Wendy's 4 for $4 menu is what matters. That's the sort of decision that gets you into the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament. 

What makes it even better is 44 is a very average basketball number. It's not elite, it's not as bad as like 52 or 53 or 43. Those numbers stink out loud. Pete Maravich made 44 look cool, but nobody playing college basketball ever saw a Maravich jersey outside of a festival. But here's the thing - if you've played sports you know how important a number is. That becomes who you are. Watch Friday Night Lights for me one time and answer how many times Riggins calls someone by name vs number. It's how you're on the scouting reports. It's everything you are so you find a number and stick with it. 

Also the go to order at Wendy's is clearly a spicy chicken sandwich combo and add a JBC on the side. Simple, classic, can't go wrong.
