The Orioles Decided To Throw The Ball Around The Infield For The Play Of The Season So Far

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the Orioles are back on their bullshit and are #bad again. Opening Weekend in Fenway was fun, everything since? Not so much! Orioles spotted the Sox a nice 10-1 lead today before their bats came alive, but then you had 3 different pitchers piss down their leg on the mound. But this play right here really sums up the weekend.

Only down 6 in the 8th with the bases loaded for the Sox it looked like the Orioles would get out of the inning. Wrong. Routine ground ball to Rio Ruiz who is actually a third baseman playing second, he boots it, Ramon Urias picks it up, he then drops it, and for whatever reason decides to fire it home. Only problem is it was a terrible throw and now the circus is in town. Ball rolls by the catcher, off the brick backstop, a runner sores, pitcher finally picks it up. Pain. Arguably the play of the year from the Birds. Play the Benny Hill music. Just some terrible mistakes this weekend, both mental and in game, not good baseball played by the Orioles. This game was out of reach when this happened so all I could do was laugh. Laughing helps me to not cry. Laughing is good. I do a lot of laughing watching these games. Get em next time, Birds.
