I blogged the split earlier but that was more about the significance of the event and less about broadcaster Rob Stone. Well we're circling back (a love of mine) to double dip on the live call because it's absolutely fucking magnificent. Really no other way to describe it. Pound for Pound the most exciting minute in professional sports I've witnessed this weekend including Xander's triple. Rob Stone absolutely brings the heat here. The fact he's not moonlighting in the Monday Night Football booth is a goddamn travesty to this nation and our future generations. There may be substantial divide across most aisles in America but if there's one thing that can bring us together, it's Rob Stone's passion and enthusiasm for the Guaranteed Rate Spare Of The Game. That transition should be inscribed on his federally-mandated mausoleum.
