Albert Pujols Is Out Here Swiping Bags At The Ripe Age Of 41

Move over Rickey Henderson, Albert Pujols is coming for that stolen bases record. Last night Pujols at age 41 stole third base, this is the guy who has had a 0 speed rating on The Show for years. Now he's out here swiping bags? Look at that jump he had too, you can't pass up a stolen bag opportunity with a jump like that. I'll be honest, watching him run hurt me, like physically hurt me. No throw on the play either, the catcher didn't even believe that Pujols would run. Didn't even entertain the thought. That stolen base will keep the catcher up for years, waking up in cold sweats because old man Pujols stole third on him without a throw. 

It was The Machine's first stolen bag since 2019, and he hasn't even been caught stealing since 2015. With those numbers it seems to me that he is a legit threat on the bases. So what he runs like his cleats are filled with concrete? So what he makes Tom Brady look fast? Want to see who he has more stolen bases than this year? Mike Trout, Kris Bryant, Nolan Arenado, Aaron Judge, Carlos Correa, ever heard of them? Maybe he's reinventing himself at the age of 41, maybe he isn't satisfied with his 115 career stolen bases, he's itching for more. If Pujols is stealing bags and Trout is doing his normal Trout things, watch out because we could have some historic stuff happening in Los Angeles or Anaheim or wherever they play.
