We Truly Live In The Greatest Times - There Is Now A Real Life Mario Kart Track And Experience In London

GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! I wonder if I can trick people into thinking I'm MRags (of course we have a Riggs, Reags and Rags now) and turn this into a content trip. MRags shouldn't even go to be honest considering he has garbage taste in Mario Kart and what character to use:

But this experience? I need it. How the fuck do we not have this in America? It makes no sense. We do everything there and we fucking love video games. Bring us Mario Kart in real life and not just this dude in Chicago

So what are the details of this place? Here's what we got (h/t Star)

The karts and the physical racing is live and the tracks are digitally projected, meaning race options are endless.

Players will burn rubber around an infinite number of tracks in a digitally projected world, while their vehicle interacts with the virtual track, and any challenges other players might “launch” their way.

The karts will be kitted out with features to produce real life sensations and reactions that will immerse competitors fully into the ride of their life. Pumping music will play while usable in-kart power-ups and weapons let players “battle” until the end of the race.

Hell yes. I've talked about it before but Mario Kart 64 is the greatest game of all time. It's held up all these years later. We all have memories as kids and adults playing it. Shit, my friends and I will still bust out the game and knock out some races in our mid-30s. But now you're telling me we can hop on a plane over to London and actually race each other? We can shoot shit at each other from last place? I already need to get to London to save Tottenham from losing Harry Kane and get Levy out, but now I have another thing on my agenda.

We truly live in the greatest times. Well, let me correct that. Those around my age in the mid-30s lived the greatest lives. We had the outside fun, we had ghost in the graveyard and flashlight tag and midnight swims at the local pools. But we also had Sega, Nintendo, N64, PS1 through 5, deleting porn off the Internet, downloading porn from Kazaa and Limewire. You just can't beat what we've experienced. And now we can add a real Mario Kart track to it. What a goddamn world folks.
