Lollapalooza Lineup Released! Miley, Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Marshmello, Journey Headlining! Let's Break It Down.

Wow.

What a great lineup. I mean that genuinely.

People love to be miserable and hate everything so they're gonna say this sucks, and the young kids ruin everything anyways, so let them bitch.

Let's break down some of the acts.

Miley Cyrus

Obviously I'm bias here. She's my girl.

She fucking crushes everything she does. Especially live shows. A festival in front of 250,000 maniac fans is going to be all time.

Foo Fighters

Foo played one of the most memorable shows I have ever experienced in my life back in 2011. It was torrentially down pouring rain and not one person cared. Everybody was so locked into their set it turned into a mud bath. Grohl did his Grohl thing where he screamed at the top of his lungs for 2.5 hours and didn't skip a beat. (I seriously don't know how he does this every show. It's incredible).

They are going to blow the fucking doors off Grant Park. Can't wait.

Post Malone

Big fan favorite. One of the hottest acts in the land coming off back-to-back SMASH album releases.

I got to see him at the Fanatics super bowl party in Miami a few years ago and his show was part concert part standup act. The guy is such a fucking performer. He had suits in the crowd that had never heard of him before eating out of his hands. Ripping cigs the whole show, calling people out for their outfits in the crowd between songs. Telling ridiculous stories.

Really hope he pulls out some of his covers for this show.

Journey

I missed Journey at Wrigley and hated myself for it, It was an epic show and everybody I know that went's takeaway was that the guy replacing Steve Perry, Arnel Campaner Pineda, had a voice of an angel. So good you couldn't even tell Perry wasn't there.

This is going to be an unreal performance. I hope it's Sunday night. Picturing picture-perfect weather, sun has just gone down, everybody has a nice buzz, weekend was a huge success, and Journey takes us home.

Tyler The Creator

And I hope they pair Miley with Tyler so he takes that whole crowd over by his stage. Nothing against Tyler, I know he's a megastar, just not my cup of tea.

Da Baby

Cleveland stand up! Big couple years for Da Baby. Hopefully he doesn't assault anybody pre-show and get arrested. Think he'll crush Lolla.

Marshmello

Cannot wait to see "Alive" live at Perry's when the CO2 blasts off on the drop and everybody loses their mind

Illenium

My favorite EDM act in the game right now. The man is a genius. Incorporates real instruments into his songs (imagine that) along with INCREDIBLE vocals and lyrics.

One of the best songs of the last ten years-

Megan Thee Stallion

Roddy Rich

Kind of a head-scratcher here listing him as a headliner but maybe I'm just old.

Limp Bizkit

Wow. Not sure if this is going to be depressing or amazing. Definitely going to have to check it out though either way.

Modest Mouse

This is fucking awesome news. Great band. Great live shows. "Float On" still bangs 15 years later.

Jimmy Eat World

Was JUST talking about Jimmy with the Cash Cash guys and have been on a Spotify kick since. This will probably be on that side stage near the Tito's VIP tent at like 6 pm on Saturday and be one of the things people remember most from the weekend. Like Third Eye Blind a few years ago.

Young The Giant

I love this band. Haven't seen them live yet so I'm excited to finally get to.

All Time Low

These guys have been fucking KILLING it this year. Two top 100 Billboard smashes. Glad to see them on a festival bill.

Freddie Gibbs

One of the hottest names in hip hop right now. Personally I think he should have been listed higher but just hope he doesn't get stuck with some shit 4pm time slot.

Tchami

Deep house so not everybody's bag, but we had this guy play at my club, FWD, two summers ago and he put on an electric show.

Cash Cash

Speaking of Cash Cash. I'm kinda pissed they didn't tell me they were doing Lolla but happy to see this and sure they'll crush Perry's!

Ashe

This chick is going to be big-time in a few years. See her before she's blown up even more than she did this year.

Tate Mcrae

I heard this girl do an interview on Hits1 a few months ago and with the maturity she spoke with, giving life advice to a couple fans asking questions about life goals and mental health, I would have sworn she was 30 years old. Turns out she's 17. And has an incredible voice and writes her own songs. Another future superstar.

Brittany Howard

Brittany is the lead vocalist of Alabama Shakes. Who fuck. Hard. Do I wish this was the whole band performing? I do. But her going solo is a pretty dope consolation prize.

Flipp Dinero

Just listing this because I love "Leave Me Alone"

Cannons

One of my most slept on bands of 2020. "Fire For You" is a fuckin awesome song. This band fucks.

Gus Dapperton

I'm starting to realize that Lolla finally started booking real bands and rock/alt rock music acts again. Thank fucking God. Gus Dapperton is the man. Excited to hear "Medicine" live.

Pumped for Lolla weekend and this lineup. Let's pray for good weather!
