Hump Day Plays Are Here! RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls

Giphy Images.

After a raucous week at HQ, me and Murls are back in our own beds making our NHL picks. Murls had an epic weekend and Everybody Rode ($EBR). My 'Bruins in 5' bet put me in the black so let's keep it going.

Red-hot Ilya Sorokin was the first Isles goalie off the ice this morning and he's been much better than presumed Pens starter Tristan Jarry this series. I don't see his play dropping off much. The Coli is gonna be bananas tonight and I think the Islanders take care of business. So we're on the Isles money line -105 with a sidecare on -1.5 +240 as well.

We're also going to put all three UNDERs in a parlay (UND 5.5 in PIT/NYI, UND 6 in FLA/TBL, and UND 5.5 in VGK/MIN).

Good luck to all.

Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.

Florida Panthers @ Tampa Bay Lightning (ML -140, O/U 6)

Murls Take: Hump Day is upon us as this week flies by and we are looking to what is probably the most entertaining series of the first round. $EBR has pleaded for the Panthers to start the Spencer Knight kid who looks 14 years old but can absolutely play in the league. He is in now but can he handle the champs on the road in a potential clinching Game 6? We don't think so. Tampa is a machine at home and the veteran group knows they want the rest before the Second Round. I have called the Elbo Room and reserved a table for the Panthers players. Also, if this pick does not win …. we get treated to a Game 7 so it's a win-win… but we will take the cash!!!

Murls Pick: Tampa 4, Florida 2

Murley's Best Bet:  Tampa money line -141 and a sidecar on puck line +160.
