Season 3 Of Succession Is Officially Premiering This Fall And I Am BUTTERED UP

“Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy begins Season 3 in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”

All of the original cast is returning, joined by Adrien Brody and Alexander Skarsgård.

Through 2 seasons, Succession is batting a thousand. Twists and turns with rich characters and phenomenal screenwriting. This is basically my free ad for HBO and my pitch for you to watch this show that absolutely kicks ass. For those of you that have not watched/those of you not caught up, STOP READING NOW

Giphy Images.

Season 2 obviously left off on an insane mic-drop moment. Kendall is officially off the reservation. The cruise scandal has come to light, and Logan chose him to be the blood sacrifice to the media. Holding the evidence of the car crash/manslaughter(?) over his head, Kendall really doesn't have much of a choice.

While sitting on the executioners block, he changes his mind and instead tells the whole world "My father is a malignant presence, a bully and a liar, and he was fully personally aware of these events for many years and made efforts to hide and cover up". Logan smirked, I'm sure proud that his son was finally growing out of his pussy cocoon and becoming a killer asshole butterfly.

I'm not sure what season 3 will hold, but I have a few ideas. Proud or not, Logan is definitely going to go AFTER Kendall with the full weight of the Waystar Royco empire. Kendall, in turn, is going to release all the documents implicating Logan in the Cruise scandall. It's basically Mutually Assured Destruction going full swing. Where is Kendall going to go after being exilled from the Roy family and all their recourses, though? Sandy Furness? Been there done that. Him and Stewey are on bad terms. Who is the next mogul? Are members of the Roy family going to defect to his side and try to oust Logan? LOTS of questions going into this season and waiting 2 years to see it has me blue balled as all hell right now.
