PLL Week 7 Preview: I Got 4 Words For Ya--Dylan. Molloy. Is. Back.

Dylan Molloy was one of the most dominant college lacrosse players of all time. He finished his career at 4th on the all-time points list, led Brown to a Championship Weekend appearance, and won the 2016 Tewaaraton Award. He's also an absolute unit and prefers to run through defenders instead of running around them. Bully ball, if you will.

But when the PLL decided to breakaway from the MLL, Dylan Molloy decided to stay back and play in the former league. Which meant that unless you are a one of the most devoted fans of lacrosse in the world, chances are you really weren't going to get a chance to watch him play. And unfortunately for Dylan Molloy, that left him on the outside when the MLL was eventually acquired by the PLL.

So the majority of lacrosse fans have been waiting years to see Dylan Molloy back in action. And they'll finally get that chance tonight thanks to the fact that the Chrome have signed Molloy to fill in for at least one of the like 7 attackmen they lost this year due to injury.

It might take him a little while to just adjusted and situated with his new team. But the Chrome don't have any time to waste. There are only 2 games left on the regular season and they are one of the 3 teams in the league desperately trying to just not finish in last place. So maybe a slow 1st quarter for Molloy, but I wouldn't be surprised if this sick bastard goes off for like 7 points on 3 goals and 4 assists tonight. He's that good.

And for every action, there is an equal opposite reaction. So while we get the long awaited PLL debut of Dylan Molloy tonight, it looks like Chris Hogan's professional lacrosse career is already over. So on today's episode of The Crease Dive, we talk about the Molloy Signing, Chris Hogan abandoning lacrosse again, and then give our picks and previews for this weekend's slate of games in Colorado Springs.
