Make The Dunk Contest Cool Again - Ja Morant Wants A MILLION Bucks To Participate Because He Doesn't Trust The Judges

[PBT] - So are we going to see Morant in the All-Star Saturday Dunk Contest? Nah. Not unless the league wants to give him $1 million to do it, he told Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report in an interview. He doesn’t trust the judging.

We need the dunk contest to be cool again. It was a staple of my childhood and teenage years. We got to see Vince Carter, Michael Jordan, Jason Richardson (most underrated dunker out there) and a bunch of other big names do it. Now? Well now we're lucky to get a starter on a team that the majority of people recognize. It doesn't help that Dwyane Wade screwed Aaron Gordon over too.

I know it seems like basically every dunk has been done but one thing is for sure. Dunking is awesome. I'm not talking about a big guy dunking either. But someone like Ja Morant's size is the perfect dunk contest participant. It's objectively cool to see someone pull out a ridiculous dunk. Ja Morant is confirmed sweet too. He's fun, he's cool, he's got everything the dunk contest needs.

The Saturday night dunk contest is a staple. It has given us so many moments - most notably Vince. Let's watch Vince again.

It even gave us Shaq with a camcorder

We need to make the dunk contest cool again. If it means giving Ja Morant a million bucks so be it. I want the big names in the event and I blame LeBron for this happening. He refused to participate in his career when he should have at least once. Give me Ja Morant and some true big names in the event. We deserve it.
