Wild Video Of A Plane Crashing Into A Sign On The Side Of A Texas Highway
Source - A Texas pilot is lucky to be alive after his plane crashed into a massive store sign on the side of the road ... sending the vessel to the ground.
The incredible video -- taken Saturday in Winnie, TX -- shows the plane take off from Highway 124, clip a streetlight and then crash into a large sign before going down.
The Video:
Local reports say the plane had been used in a parade as a float, and the pilot decided he would take off from the street to get back home. Luckily, the pilot was not injured in the crash, but the crash caused the street to be closed for several hours.
Alternate Title: "Idiot Pilot Can't Get Plane Off The Ground, Immediately Crashes Into Jiffy Lube Sign." I mean imagine how embarrassed he must be? Something tells me he's and older fella but still, crashing into a sign? In Winnie, Texas? A town of 2,800 people where everyone knows your name? Good lord. I can't think of anything worse. People won't even feel bad for him either because he walked away. It'd be one thing if he broke a back or a leg or an arm, but he didn't. He's fine.
Regardless this will be the talk of the town for the next fifty years. "Remember when old man Johnson crashed that plane downtown?!" Poor guy. They're saying high winds are what caused the crash too but it doesn't matter. The damage is done. He will forever be known as the guy who crashed the plane. At least everyone involved is okay because THAT'S all that matters. Thanks for reading. *Kissy Face*
