This $61,000 274-Day Cruise That Hits 11 Wonders Of The World & Every Continent Is VERY Intriguing
Business Insider- Royal Caribbean is launching a 274-night cruise around the world, with its inaugural sail set for 2023.
Prices start at $61,000 per person.
In a press release Wednesday, the cruise line said it was "the longest and most comprehensive world cruise out there."
The company said the cruise, which is set to depart from Miami, visits more than 150 destinations in 65 countries, spanning all seven continents.
"The Ultimate World Cruise" stops off at destinations including Casablanca in Morocco, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and Antarctica. Other stops include Brazil, where passengers can see the Christ the Redeemer statue on New Years Eve, and Beijing, Royal Caribbean said.
This sounds AWESOME. Granted this is coming from the voice of someone who's never actually been on a cruise or even been on a boat where you can't see land in their lives, but nonetheless how could this not sound like something out of the movies? I get that the conditions on a cruise may not be the best. When I just sent that article to my group chat there was a 100% response rate of everyone saying how disgusting and/or miserable that sounds but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they are just having a negative outlook on this whole journey.
I mean if you think about it you are paying AT LEAST $61,000 for this cruise so it sure as hell better be quite the fancy living arrangements as I'm gone for more than 2/3 of a year. Then once you get past living on a boat for that much time you have the wondrous knowledge of knowing that you are literally about to see every single continent, 150 countries, and 11 wonders of the world. You legitimately might as well call yourself Magellan after a journey like that.Though that is coming from someone like me who is obsessed with seeing the world and shit.
You're getting the great barrier reef. You're getting Christ the Redeemer. You're getting Beijing. You're even getting Casablanca for all the movie buffs out there!! You are a friggen DORK if you don't think this sounds cool. The only downside sounds like living with the same bunch of strangers fro 274 days. Now that sounds boring. If I wanted to do that again I'd go back to college to get my degree.
