Odell Beckham Has Released A Handwritten Thank You Letter To The Browns
I'll say this: I respect the hand-written note. Even though he wouldn't pass a 3rd grade handwriting class, I appreciate the fact that he took the time to put his thoughts down on paper. In a world that has evolved, or devolved really, to releasing heartfelt messages via iPhone notes app, I do respect this.
.....and that's where my respect for Odell Beckham (both Jr. and Sr.) ends.
The way he handled this departure is nothing short of embarrassing, and to hear that he hasn't even reached out to Baker Mayfield yet, it absolutely stinks. Baker has taken he highroad time after time with this diva, and even after we dominated the Bengals and proved to the world we were better without him, he still wished OBJ well.
It's been over a week since the Browns released OBJ. And it's been 10 days since his dad posted a video completely trashing our quarterback, accusing him of purposely making Odell look bad because he doesn't want to see him shine. And then Odell went into hiding and didn't say anything to Baker? That's not a man. That's a child. And after squinting to try and figure out what this "thank you letter" says, here's my reaction:
You owe Baker a public apology, and anything short of that, I'm not listening. Don't name your buddy Jarvis. We all know you talk to him every day. You don't need to mention him, you need to mention Baker Mayfield. The QB that you railroaded.
I don't care what this note says. It looks like a kindergartener wrote it, and besides, he should've done it the Cleveland way. We're talking Comic Sans, folks.
