We've Got Haymakers Being Thrown By Security Guards And Fans In The Stands Of LIDOM Playoff Games
I've been getting most of my baseball fix via LIDOM games, the baseball league in the Dominican Republic with a bunch of big name guys that have played in the bigs. Very entertaining games, awesome celebrations, big time homers, and of course, fights in the stands. This is what we are missing here in the states, security guards fighting the fans. They just don't give a shit down in the DR, they'll fight whoever. Brother, uncle, cop, security guard, who cares. They'll throw fists with just about anyone.
There is a clear disagreement between the gentleman in the white shirt and security guard in blue. The convo seems to get a little heated and it appears that the security guard touches the man in the face. That is when it pops off. They start going at it right in the middle of the concourse. Security guard winds up and tries to send the other guys head straight off. My man in the white ducks and throws up the Jordan shrug emoji almost to ask "What was that?" He then goes to protect the body while the security guard goes to town. That is when the guy in the white remembered he was in a fight and started to come after the security guard. Someone tries to step in to break it up and the guy in the white lands a solid punch right to the jaw. Shocking there was no other security around to jump in and stop it. They keep just squaring up right in front of the stands while the game is going, right in front of people's seats. Fans are trying to see where that 1-1 pitch missed while the security guard is scrapping with a fan.
We get a big swing and a miss by the white shirt and that is when blue shirt sends him down, he caught him good. He does get up but it's squashed from there. This one had some solid punches thrown, lasted a while too. It dragged on for quite a bit.
Very rare you get two different angles of fights in the stands but we have that here, that is the LIDOM difference. Overall a pretty entertaining fight, especially because it involves a security guard and a fan. To be honest it seemed like this is all on the security guard's shoulders, he seemed like he started it, he definitely escalated it, and he also landed the most punches and won the fight. This guy was begging for a brawl it seemed. You never know what you'll see at one of these games. Maybe an Albert Pujols walk-off, maybe a security guards throwing hands.
