Watch This When You're High - What's Under The Ice In Antarctica?
I saw some crazy post on Instagram about an old Captain Cook and later an Admiral Byrd both making expeditions to the forbidden continent.
Operation HIGHJUMP, officially titled The United States Navy Antarctic Developments Program, 1946–1947, was a United States Navy operation to establish the Antarctic research base Little America IV.
Conspiracy theorists claim the expedition was to extract Nazi intelligence from the bases they had set up there as well as recover UFO's they were hiding there. (More on this below)
Wild rumors and conspiracies boomed after his trip with stories of him being confronted by advanced civilizations and discovering new lands beyond an "ice wall."
(This guys voice is nails, but if you ignore it or get used to it, this video series is a pretty entertaining story.)
Conspiracies were given more fuel when people began to point out that planes don't fly over the continent yet they do the North Pole.
There are also lots of questions about what lays under the ice sheet itself.
Some claim military bases. Others pyramids.
There's also factual information of Hitler and the Nazi's wanting to (and possibly) establishing bases there. Some claim they're still there and that many Nazi's fled to them after Germany surrendered in WWII.
Keep the suggestions coming. Keep them classy. No butt stuff.
