Kanye West Is Under Investigation For Allegedly Punching A Fan In The Face After His Late Night Listening Party

Source - Kanye West is under investigation for alleged criminal battery in Los Angeles, a spokeswoman for the LAPD confirmed to Page Six.

The “Donda” performer, 44, allegedly got into an argument that turned physical around 3 a.m. local time Thursday when a fan asked West for his autograph while he was sitting in his SUV outside of the private club Soho Warehouse, Fox 11 first reported.

West allegedly punched the fan, who fell to the ground, and the case is being investigated as misdemeanor battery, which carries a maximum jail sentence of six months.

TMZ obtained a video of an apparent irate West, who could be heard yelling, “Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not?

Reps for West didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment. The LAPD declined to provide details beyond confirming the investigation.

Call me crazy, but I didn't see anything. All I saw was a guy yelling at someone at three in the morning. Happens all the time. The only difference is the person yelling usually isn't Kanye West fresh of a listening party with Madonna and Floyd Mayweather. It's a homeless man drunk off his ass. That said, the punch A) could've happened off camera and B) could've been warranted. And when I say "warranted" I mean think about how annoying it must be to have people in your face 24/7. Following your every move to the point where you can't get a second of alone time. I'd snap too. I'm not justifying his alleged behavior, I'm just saying that I understand it. Oh and if you think for a second that Kanye West is going to jail, you're a moron. Billionaires don't go to prison unless it's for white collar crime.
