The NFL Just Released Its Trailer For The 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show And It Looks Awesome

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige AND Kendrick Lamar? I'm in. In an ideal world we'd replace Kendrick with Beyonce and Mary with Lady (Gaga), but that's neither here nor there. What's done is done and I'm excited for the show. Because even though rap performances are notoriously terrible live, there is simply too much star power on that stage for it to be a failure. Which is ironic because I don't think that any individual performer on the dais would be able to carry the show. Maybbeeee Eminem in his prime, but none of the others. That's not to say that they don't have great songs, it's just that you need a variety sounds to satisfy the masses. That's why they put Beyonce and Bruno Mars with Coldplay. Regardless, this is a major step up from Shakira and J Lo so I'm excited. I was going to end this blog by including a video to the 2007 Prince halftime show, but the NFL prohibits any of their videos from appearing on our site. Instead here's a video of Snoop Dogg getting high. Enjoy...
