David Ortiz Has Been Elected To The Hall of Fame Along With Nobody Else Because The BBWAA Is The Worst

David Ortiz was the only player elected this year. He deserves to go in, but certainly not like this. The most clutch player of his generation had long earned the right to be immortalized alongside the game’s greats. It’s just a shame the games greats aren’t all in there with him. Maybe next year the BBWAA will get their heads out of their own asses and put more than one all time great player in, but I wouldn’t bet on them making too many correct decisions at once.

Congrats Big Papi. You deserve this honor. You don’t deserve the shit that’s going to come along with it.
