Julianna Peña Says Beating The GOAT Amanda Nunes Was 90% Mental

I spoke with the new UFC Women's Bantamweight Champ Julianna Peña last week, and I thought this was one of the most interesting tidbits from our interview: she credits 90% of her recent win over Amanda Nunes (considered the greatest female fighter of all time by many) to the mental game over the physical contest. 

You hear fighters say shit like that all the time, it's nothing new per se, but hearing it from a woman who just accomplished what many consider to be the impossible made it hit a little harder, in my eyes....especially after she spent the last FIVE YEARS calling Nunes out before finally getting her shot at the title. Julianna knew what she was going to do, she told us all, and everyone (myself included) just laughed it off - until we didn't. She went in there and BULLIED Amanda Nunes, put the pressure on her, and finished her....

It was announced this weekend that Julianna and Amanda will now serve as coaches in the next season of The Ultimate Fighter in the build to their rematch....

Will it go the same way the second time around or will Nunes reclaim her throne? What do you think?
