Ronald Acuña Launching a Ball Into Orbit and Screaming 'I'm Back' Will Give You a Baseball Boner
Ronald is back. Baseball is back.
Yesterday was all Freddie Freeman this and Matt Olson that in Atlanta, and rightfully so. It was the biggest trade the Braves have made in a long time. But does nobody remember the fact the defending World Champions are adding one of the top five players in baseball back into their lineup potentially as soon as Opening Day? That seems like something which would concern me if I was a fan of another team in the NL East.
For any baseball fan, though, this has to be a welcome sight. We now know Fernando Tatis Jr. will miss a large portion of the season following wrist surgery and we just watched Ronald Acuña Jr. go down with an ACL tear last season. I want to see all the brightest stars in the game out there putting balls 15 rows into the bleachers for the whole season.
It sure seems like Ronald is ready to go. Just listen to the sound off that bat. I need to see him in the leadoff spot on Opening Day like I need air.
Regardless of when he ends up making his 2022 debut, the Braves' superstar is definitely back and we're just three weeks away from Major League Baseball.
