Awesome Video Of A High School Gymnasium Going BONKERS After A Blind Basketball Player Drills A Free Throw

Source - A Michigan high school basketball player -- who is completely blind -- had an arena full of fans cheer at the top of their lungs this week ... after sinking a jump shot during a game.

The star athlete is 17-year-old Jules Hoogland from the Zeeland East High School Unified Sports hoops team ... which consists of 3 special education and 2 general ed. athletes on the court at all times.

We're told the final game of the 2022 campaign was on Tuesday ... and special education teacher/Unified Sports coach Nate Vande Gutche says Hoogland had been working hard to improve her shot all season.

The time and effort paid off during Tuesday's game -- Hoogland lined up in front of the basket as a paraprofessional signals the hoop's location by hitting a long yellow pole on the backboard ... and she banked in the shot!!

The Video:

Hell. Yes. Jules. Drill that shot girl. I saw this video floating around the internet yesterday and was shocked no one blogged it. I mean what's not to love? You've got an entire gymnasium of high school kids, typically the worst people on the planet, completely silent so their classmate can do what she does best - get buckets. 2500 kids and not a single one made a peep. As our good friend Rico Bosco says, "some things." I wonder what was going through her head when she heard the crowd go nuts? It probably scared her. I know I jumped. Kids were practically storming the court...

The ironic part is, that group of dudes looks like every single bench in the NCAA tournament. Regardless, shout out to Jules for hitting shot and shout out to the kids at Zeeland East High School for helping to make it happen. Team work makes the dream work, babes. Have a wonderful Friday. Now here's a compilation of the worst free throw attempts of all time. Enjoy…
