Armando Bacot Had A 'Holy Shit' Moment In The NCAA Tournament - The Moment He Realized He Was Playing Against Doug

I love this tweet by Armando Bacot because it truly shows just how ridiculous the run by Saint Peter's truly was. Bacot plays against big name guys all the time. Duh. He's in the ACC. He was a high-level recruit. But there's one guy that took his breath away.

The man who has a mustache because of a joke. 

The man who doesn't eat sandwiches. That legit might be crazier than him making a run to the Elite Eight. 

But this is the beauty of the NCAA Tournament. We get games we'd never thought would matter. If you heard Saint Peter's was playing UNC you'd assume it was November and UNC paid them $500k to come to Chapel Hill. But Saint Peter's took over the world. Everyone was talking about the Peacocks. I said it before, but it's the biggest Cinderella run we ever saw in this event. It's even on the shortlist for biggest Cinderella run in all of sports. It'll never top Miracle on Ice, but it's on the shortlist. 

Bacot could have tweeted anything here. He could have ignored it or said it was just another game. But it was against a team who won over America. Against a specific player who won over America. I love it. I love hearing guys be honest about this sort of stuff even if it's in a joking manner.
