The First Trailer For 'Thor: Love and Thunder' Is 80's Rock Awesomeness

The further adventures of Thor.

AT LONG LAST we finally have a trailer for one of the most anticipated comic book movies of the year! If you listen to LCB, you know we have been absolutely perplexed as to how a trailer or teaser hadn't been dropped yet even though we were only a few months away from the actual release date. We theorized it may drop as a post credit in Dr. Strange, but I'm much happier getting a regular 10:00am on a Monday drop. 

Through 2 movies, Thor was easily the weakest sub-installment in the MCU. Ragnarok changed that and it's all thanks to Taika Waititi, who also directed this one. Like Ragnarok, it has color, life, character and a 80's ish vibe. Sweet Child O' Mine was a great fit and instantly tells us what kind of movie this was going to be. Based on the trailer, Thor going to have a sort of identity crisis while headlining the Asgardians of the Galaxy. We got a quick look at the guardians, some new worlds AND Lady Thor. 

We didn't get a look at Christian Bale's Gorr the God Butcher just yet, so that is what I am looking out for whenever the next trailer drops. I really still can't believe that we are going to see Christian Bale in a Marvel movie. It sounds so wrong but it will be sooooo right. 

This comes out July 8th.
