It Appears That Steve Cohen Is Looking Into Plans That Will FINALLY Fix Up The Barren Wasteland Surrounding Citi Field

Well well well, what do we have HERE Uncle Stevie (other than the cutest good boy on the planet sitting on your lap)? Steve Cohen is already a God to millions of Mets fans for saving us from the tyranny of the Wilpons let alone putting together the most enjoyable team over the first month of the season in forever and promising to wipe his ass with the bill Major League Baseball sends him for a luxury tax named after him.

But to be the owner that actually turns the barren wasteland of Willets Point into something usable for Mets fans let alone all New Yorkers is next level shit. Going to other baseball stadiums and seeing things like bars, stores, or pretty much anything other than the concrete elephant graveyard that surrounds the gem that is Citi Field is such a kick in the dick. Well I guess you can still get your car tuned up for painted a different color like the GTA Pay N Spray at the few remaining chop shops. Other than that, you are shit out of luck unless you want to get sauced up in the parking lot now that McFaddens is closed.

I don't know what phase 1A or 1B mean on that map and couldn't give less of a shit about schools being built in Queens. But putting housing, a hotel, and what I imagine is a smattering of restaurants that I can't see in that screenshot is going to make the area surrounding 41 Seaver Way absolutely electric while baseball is being played from April-October. Yeah I said October, be cool. This is what life is going to be like under King Cohen. Winning. Partying. Celebrating responsibly in the Canyon of Heroes with cake, punch, and Coors Light!

We'll be discussing these glorious plans along with splitting the Braves series and the upcoming Philly series on We Gotta Believe with Darren from the 7 Line, which is live right now (make sure to subscribe to the YouTube and turn on notifications).
