The Arkansas Rally Raccoon May Have Breathed New Life Into the Hogs' Season

Tennessee officially clinched the SEC regular season title with a win over Georgia on Friday night, but Arkansas seems like it may have found its good luck charm heading into the SEC and NCAA Tournament.

In a game the Razorbacks trailed 5-0 and is tied 6-6 in the 9th inning at the time of publication, fans in the outfield somehow pulled a raccoon out of nowhere. I have no idea where it came from or what it's doing in the stands of Baum-Walker Stadium, but you couldn't find a fanbase more eager to grab a raccoon and parade it around like a new mascot than the folks in Fayetteville. They live for this sort of thing.

Only time will tell if the Rally Raccoon is enough to reverse the storied history of Arkansas choke jobs in the NCAA Tournament.

UPDATE: There was a second raccoon.
