Tommy Pham Said Mike Trout Is “The Worst Commissioner In Fantasy Sports”
If you thought this story was over you couldn't be more wrong. After his 3-game suspension for slapping Joc Pederson was over, Tommy Pham answered some questions before Tuesday's game and obviously everyone wanted to know more about the slap and the famous GIF. Pham continued to be an absolute softy and blame other people, this time bringing Mike Trout into the equation.
“Trout did a terrible job, man,” Pham said, laughing. “Trout is the worst commissioner in fantasy sports because he allowed a lot of (stuff) to go on, and he could’ve solved it all. I don’t want to be the (bleeping) commissioner; I’ve got other (stuff) to do. (Trout) didn’t want to do it. We put it on him, so it’s kind of our fault too because we made him commissioner.”
That is a big time quote thrown around by Pham. Blaming Trout for YOU getting mad at a GIF is a wild move. He was mad that Trout didn't step in and stop Pederson from sending GIFs? What is a fantasy league without a group chat popping off? This sounds like a classic case of a guy thinking he could win a fantasy league with a lot of money on the line and then quickly realizing he's in over his head and doesn't know jack about football. We all have that one friend, except our friend doesn't go around slapping people over GIFs.
Now he said this while laughing, but you know this is what he actually thinks. Pham actually is a crazy person who is now seemingly blaming other people for his dumb actions. Sure, blame Trout for you still being mad over a year later. I don't know what Pham wanted Trout to do? "He allowed a lot of stuff to go on", it's a group chat! People were sending GIFs, what is there to put a stop to? Pham comes out of this looking worse and worse every time he opens his mouth. Joc came with the receipts and Pham still is blaming other people and not owning up to being a gigantic softy. I still don't know what exactly Pham wanted Trout to do. Didn't want guys to be allowed to shit talk? Didn't want a group chat? What was Pham expecting when he joined a league where everyone put up $10K? I'd love to see what Pham would do if someone in his league started Taysom Hill at TE and they let him rack up all those stats, he'd legit lose his mind. It's also funny that this is the most trouble Mike Trout has ever been involved in.
I am obsessed with this story, I never want this story to go away. I want Pham to keep opening his big dumb mouth and more BS to keep coming out of it. If he wants to talk trash on Joc and say he was disrespectful for texting you GIFS as the Padres collapsed that is fine, but don't bring baby boy Mike Trout into this, it's not the commissioners fault you're a crybaby. Now we wait for a response from Trout, hopefully he comes out and puts Pham in his place. But I would be sleeping with one eye open if I was Trout because god knows what Pham will do to him next time he's in the same timezone as Trout. Guy is a lunatic.
