Look at Fred Jackson getting the jump on the Schefters and Rapsheets of the world with a scoop about America's QB hanging them up. Not quite Schefty scooping the entire NFL world for Tom Brady's retirement that lasted like 20 minutes. But a hell of a pull nonetheless by Fred Jackson, who seemed to always produce throughout the years like Fitzpatrick even though his career was not nearly as long with a hell of a lot less stops.

I also got Nick Mangold to confirm since I saw his name on that graphic and as a medium sized J, I always double source my stories.

I'd say a leaked text message isn't the way Fitzmagic would want the world to find out he pulled out his final football trick out of his magical beard. But that name graphic probably took a lot of work to make. I didn't think could possibly be for how long Fitzmagic played with certain guys considering how big some of the names are of guys like Nick Mangold are since Fitz only played two seasons with the Jets. But I guess that's the life of the journeyman QB to have the most journeys ever. However, something tells me a common man like this doesn't worry about silly shit like that.

So congrats to Ryan Fitzpatrick on a career that was so much more productive and entertaining than most people thought it would be when he was drafted in the 7th round from Harvard that announcers stopped bashing that he was a 7th round pick out of Harvard into our heads years ago, which honestly would be the last college I would've guessed by just looking at him. What a run by an absolute legend. Let the Bills sign Fitz to a one day contract so he can retire in Buffalo and spend the rest of his days with those fans because it just feels right.

P.S. I gotta know if that text was sent to every name in that graphic or just to Fitz's closer friends as well as if anybody has Fitzpatrick in their phone as anything but Fitzy, Fitz, or Fitzmagic. Because having a character like that in your phone as Ryan is sus. Also everyone should have a Fitzy in their group of friends. Fitzys are the best regardless of it's a Fitzpatrick, a Fitzgerald, or any other name that starts with Fitz.
