Goodell Is Spending His Day Lying To Congress To Protect Dan Snyder (Watch Here)

So, today is the day. Roger Goodell is appearing live (on Zoom) in front of the Congressional Oversight Committee to defend and lie on Dan Snyder's behalf. It's going to be a doozy. Ultimately, I don't think much reallllllyyyy gets accomplished, but I hope I'm wrong. As far as I understand it, Roger gets paid his $60 million a year to lie to protect the owners. He already released his opening statement which basically says "we fined him $10 million, what more can we do!". He also just lies about Snyder's involvement with the team.

It's all lies. As we know, Snyder is still very involved with the team, has weekly meetings with Coach Ron, and gave a speech at the new logo unveiling. It's all bullshit.

I'm sure Congress will get some good points/zings in. I'm sure they will try to make Roger look dumb as hell. But unless they can get something on Dan himself, I'm not positive anything will come from this, but I hope I'm very wrong.
