Donovan Mitchell Nearly Breaks The Damn Backboard In Paolo Banchero's "Welcome To The NBA" Moment
While it's the off-season, the hoopers are still hooping and Chris Brinkley is a terrific trainer that works with a ton of top guys. He started with Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith and now works with LeBron and a ton of established superstars. He organizes these "Black Ops" runs with a bunch of pros and future Knicks Guard Donovan Mitchell showed Magic #1 pick Paolo Banchero what types of monsters he's going to be playing against on a daily basis. Mitchell even yells "Welcome to the NBA" as he trots back on defense after completely altering the goal.
Mitchell of course is still rumored to be on the move with the Knicks the favorites to land his services. The Heat and Nets are also rumored to be potential suitors. Mitchell, a former Slam Dunk Champion, has a habit of throwing down some nasty in-game stuffs.
Meanwhile, Banchero was terrific in the Summer League and showed he's the real deal. At his size (6'10" 250 lbs.) with his footwork and natural feel for the game, he's going to make an immediate impact. The Magic may actually be a fun watch this year!
