The Bucs Open Training Camp Today And We've Got Something Big To Celebrate The Occasion
With the Buccaneers vets starting training camp today it marks the official start of football season for guys like me. The Bucs have made a few interesting moves recently with the signing of Kyle Rudolph to bolster their Tight End depth after the retirement of Rob Gronkowski. The signing of Julio Jones yesterday improves the Wide Receiver depth in a very talented room with a few question marks. How is Chris Godwin recovering from the torn ACL? Will he be back in time for Week 1? How is Russell Gage acclimating to the new offense? Julio's addition will not likely be a 60+ play a game guy on offense, but more a rotational piece for depth which can hopefully save his legs for when they'll really need him, in the post-season.
But Julio still has it based on his time last year. He played 10 games for the Titans and when healthy, still looked good.
To commemorate Julio's arrival in Tampa, I've created some new Julio merch. A bit of a play on the Air Jordan logo of course with Julio's iconic catch in Super Bowl LI. Get it here:
